The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines announced that it has recently signed a memorandum of agreement with the Polytechnic University of the Philippines to help the authority enhance its training programs for CAAP employees.
CAAP said that the activity marked the official partnership between the two organizations, where the PUP will be extending its professional services and allowing CAAP to utilize and benefit from its expertise in psychology through training programs.
Spearheaded by the PUP PhD and MA Psychology programs, the partnership is seen not only to help promote the university’s programs but will serve as a step towards improving the quality of the workplace at CAAP and by extension, the quality of life of its employees.
CAAP director general Captain Manuel Antonio Tamayo personally represented the agency together with deputy director general for Operations Captain Edgardo G. Diaz, deputy director general for Administration Atty. Danjun G. Lucas and assistant director general for Enforcement and Legal Service Chief Atty. Roberto Martin S. Buenaventura.
The PUP was represented by Graduate School Dean Dr. Elmer G. De Jose, PhD, MAP Psychology Programs chairperson Dr. Pricilla B. Marzan and John Mark Distor.
PUP vice president for Research, Extension, Planning and Development Dr. Anna Ruby P. Gapasin also expressed her gratitude to the CAAP Management through a video message.
