More than P1 million worth of suspected illegal drugs were seized from three suspects in a buy-bust operation in Rodriguez, Rizal on Monday afternoon.

Nabbed in the operation were Mark Arnibal alias Baton, Christian Cano alias Bunso and Charlene Añes alias Bibe, all residents of Rodriguez.

The three suspects were collared in an operation conducted by joint operatives of the Rodriguez Municipal Police Station’s drug enforcement team and Rizal Police Provincial Office’s provincial intelligence unit along Anak Pawis, Kasiglahan Village in Barangay San Jose.

Seized from the suspects one.45 caliber pistol, eight pieces of live ammunition of .45 caliber pistol, two pieces of .45 caliber pistol magazines and 180 grams of suspected shabu worth P1,224,000.

The suspects are now detained at the Rodriguez Municipal Police Station custodial facility while facing charges for violation with Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
