A fire razed a plastics manufacturing factory in Novaliches, Quezon City, the Bureau of Fire Protection said Monday.

The fire started in the workers’ barracks with adjacent buildings being engulfed by the fast-spreading flames.

According to a stay-in employee in the factory, he woke up with the fire already out of control. The fire reached the fourth alarm.

No one was hurt in the conflagration, the BFP said.

Several roads leading to Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon were closed during the fire and clean-up.
