Peso closes at $1 = P55.08

The Philippine Peso on Tuesday, 14 March, depreciated against the US dollar to P55.08 from the previous day’s P54.93 finish.

The local currency opened the day at P55.03. It traded between P55.14 and P54.88.

The average for the day stood at P55.025.

Volume rose to $1.13 billion against Monday’s $1.07 billion.
