ECHO wary of red-hot Bren Esports

M4 Mobile Legends world champion ECHO has placed Bren Esports on its radar following its six-game winning streak in Season 11 of the Mobile Legends Professional League Philippines.

Bren Esports, who ruled the MPL Season 6, opened its Season 11 campaign with a 0-2 loss against ECHO.

Since then, it was unstoppable as it was able to defeat Omega Esports, Nexplay, TNC, RSG PH, ONIC Philippines and three-time MPL champion Blacklist International via 2-0 sweep.

ECHO coach Harold “Tictac” Reyes said Bren Esports found its momentum and is looking like a serious contender for the MPL title.

“I think Bren Esports is enjoying its momentum having won matches by sweep. I think they are one of the strong contenders (this season),” Tictac said.

“We are turning our focus on Bren because it is looking strong right now,” mid laner Alston “Sanji” Placibo chimed in.

Bren Esports, on the other hand, simply brushed it off as it is convinced that it has yet to reach its full potential.

“For us, we are yet to hit our peak. I think we are only at sixty percent because our inconsistencies come out sometimes in scrimmages. Even though we always give our best we still somehow feel that we are still lacking,” Bren Esports team captain Angelo Kyle “Pheww” Arcangel said.

“We just keep training and we do not lose our trust in each other. We are yet (to be feared) because we also got swept by ECHO and we are yet to get even. The reigning M4 world champion ECHO is the team to beat.”

Bren Esports coach Francis “Duckey” Glindro, meanwhile, agrees.

“I would agree with Pheww, this is not our best because we have a long way ahead. There are still inconsistencies that need improvements. I would agree, we are at sixty to seventy percent but we will get there,” Duckey, who earlier said that the best is yet to come, stressed.
