Cambodia to host MSC 2023

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang developer Moonton Games has awarded the hosting of Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup 2023 to Cambodia.

Originally a platform for the Southeast Asian region to showcase its wares in the competitive mobile MOBA, this year’s edition of the MSC, to be held from 10 to 18 June, will be joined by new regions: North America, the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey.

“The success of MPL Cambodia has helped to strengthen the development of the esports ecosystem in Cambodia, and we are looking to take it one step further by bringing MSC 2023 to create more opportunities for local talents here,” said MOONTON Games Head of Esports Ecosystem Ray Ng.

“We are excited to showcase the potential of Cambodian players to a global arena and to bring in global players to #SEATheWorld.”

The MPL PH Season 11 champion and runner-up will represent the Philippines in the upcoming tournament.

In the previous MSC, Filipino team RSG PH bagged the crown and won $140,000 while the 2021 champion Execration, also from the Philippines, won $70,000.
