Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez are set to reunite in their upcoming film Walang KaParis, which has recently dropped its trailer.

The film, directed by Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, follows the story of Jojo (Marquez), a Filipino painter living in Paris who has had a number of lovers, but none of whom have been able to fill the void left in his life by the mysterious model for his paintings. Then one day Marie (De Rossi) approaches him and claims to be the person featured in his paintings.

The collaboration between De Rossi and Marquez on this project is not new. They were previously cast together in Bernardo’s romantic comedy Kita Kita, which debuted in 2017. The movie, set in Sapporo, Japan, was warmly received by viewers and critics alike.

The Walang KaParis trailer, showcasing the chemistry between the two leads and the picturesque city of Paris, only serves to fuel the anticipation for the “AlEmpoy” reunion.

Along with Kita Kita, Walang KaParis, a production of Spring Productions and Viva Films, debuts on Amazon Prime Video on 23 March across 240 nations and territories around the world.
