A fifth lone bettor won the Lotto jackpot this month while another winner told bettors that they will be lucky some day like him.

Winning the P29.7-million jackpot of the Grand Lotto 6/55 on Saturday was a bettor from Davao del Sur province.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s advisory Sunday said the bettor guessed the winning number combination of 45-29-12-03-26-51.

The Grand Lotto 6/55 ticket was bought in Davao City, according to PCSO.

Seven other bettors won P100,000 each in the 6-digit draw, 662 will get P1,500 each for guessing four correct digits, and 16,084 will settle for P60 each for their three correct digits.

On 9 March, a lone bettor from Mandaue City, Cebu won P16.3 million in the Lotto 6/42 draw.

One bettor from Pulilan, Bulacan hit the P109-million jackpot of the Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw on 7 March.

Another bettor from Bayugan, Agusan del Sur won P12 million jackpot in the Mega Lotto 6/45 draw on 6 March and a bettor from Ozamis City, Misamis Occidental won the Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot of P18.7 million on 3 March.

Meanwhile, a 46-year-old sari-sari store owner from Lavezares, Northern Samar claimed his Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot prize of P63 million last 27 February at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City, the lottery agency said.

The man thanked the PCSO and urged Lotto bettors to be patient.

“Let’s continue to support the PCSO in their endeavor to help the people through the lottery games. Just like me, I believe that luck will come your way, too. Just keep believing while helping others,” he said.

The new millionaire had been betting for more than 25 years before hitting the jackpot on 19 February.

His winning ticket contained the numbers 47-46-35-25 -15-04, a combination of the birthdates and ages of his family members and relatives.
