The multi-talented actress Beauty Gonzalez made her very first guest appearance on the acclaimed drama anthology series Magpakailanman on GMA last Saturday, 11 March.
Gonzalez, who is known for her roles in hit TV shows Kadenang Ginto and Pusong Ligaw, played the role of Diana, a devoted mother and wife who tasted hell in the arms of her own husband, in an episode titled Takas sa Impiyerno. Gina Alajar directed the said episode.
At a GMA press conference, she expressed her gratitude for the show, saying, “I was so happy kasi finally it happened. Matagal ko nang hinintay na mag-guest ako sa Magpakailanman but hindi lang talaga nagkaka-timing because I was also working with different projects with GMA. At the same time, I was looking for the perfect story. Finally, nag-align ‘yung mga stars.”
She also stressed that the role was noteworthy since it was the first time she worked with Alajar.
“Ang haba pa ng pinag-uusapan namin, lahat ng mga creative process batuhan kami. It was really fun and finally one of my dreams came true — to work with an
actor-director na hindi ko pa na-try ever in my career,” she said.
Lucho Ayala, Seth Dela Cruz, Maritess Joaquin, and Tanya Gomez also appeared in the episode as Albert, Lucas, Fercy, and Elvie, respectively.
