Moving toward its vision of helping nurture the health and wellness of communities, the SM group recently held two medical missions in Tuguegarao and Cauayan in the Cagayan Valley region.

Through the medical missions, SM Foundation Inc. was able to assist over 1,200 patients.

During the mission’s second leg in SM City Cauayan on 2 March, SM Foundation also provided free services to over 600 Isabelinos, providing more than 800 medical and dental services — from x-ray and ECG to cholesterol and glucose tests.

Joining the SM group in the successful medical missions were the MX3-DMIRIE Foundation, Tuguegarao and Cauayan local government units, Cagayan United Doctors Medical Center, Cagayan Valley Medical Center, Isabela Medical Society, and Red Cross Isabela.
