F2 Logistics pulled off a breakthrough victory by securing its first-ever semifinals slot in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino yesterday at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.
The Cargo Movers pounced on the winless Army-Black Mamba, 25-15, 20-25, 25-20, 25-13, to improve their win-loss record to 6-2.
Behind Kiam Kianna Dy, who dropped 22 points on 18 attacks and three blocks, F2 thus dealt the Lady Troopers their sixth straight defeat and 20th stretching back to the Invitationals.
F2 joined the league in 2021.
Myla Pablo didn’t suit up but F2 still managed to prevent Army from putting an end to its losing ways.
Elaine Kasilag and Aby Marano likewise provided premium contributions for F2.
Army will get its last chance to barge into the win column when it collides with Cignal on Thursday at the Philsports in Pasig.
