Lyceum of the Philippines University swept past San Beda University, 25-20, 25-16, 28-26, to bolster their Final Four chances in Season 98 National Collegiate Athletics Association women’s volleyball tournament on Sunday at the San Andres Sports Complex in Manila.

Jaja Tulang scored 14 points as the Lady Pirates picked up their fifth win in seven matches.

Lyceum now shares third place with Mapua University, which also has a 5-2 card.

Lady Pirates head coach Cromwell Garcia told his wards to never lose concentration on the match.

“Actually, I told them if they want something, they should work for it,” Garcia said.

“If they are hunting for something, they should never let go of it.”

Louise Tayag was the only Lady Red Spiker to reach double digits with 10 points as they bowed out of Final Four contention.
