Mapua, Olivarez show way

Victor Mapua and Pablo Olivarez looked headed to victory in the 32nd Bill Shaw Golf Classic despite figuring in a nine-way tie for first place in the overall team net division.

Mapua and Olivarez had the lowest handicaps among those tied on 132 with the final batch of players still out at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong on Saturday afternoon.

Mapua and Olivarez also paced Division I, five points ahead of Sofia Araneta and Bryan Cockrell.
