Bong Go aids indigents in Tarlac City

Sen. Bong Go had his team provide assistance to distressed residents in Tarlac City on Friday, 10 March, a day after he visited the province and personally inspected the Super Health Center in the town of San Jose.

Go in his video message.

Mounted at Information Technology Park’s Training Center, Go’s team gave relief items, such as masks and snacks, to 251 residents. They likewise gave away cellular phones, shoes, and balls for basketball and volleyball to select recipients.

Meanwhile, the Department of Social Welfare and Development provided financial assistance to support their daily necessities.

Go, who is the Chair of the Senate Committee on Health and Demography, then advised residents with health issues to seek the services of the Malasakit Center located at the Tarlac Provincial Hospital in the city.

The Malasakit Center is a one-stop shop that aims to reduce the medical expenses of poor and indigent patients to the lowest possible amount by covering various patient services and expenses.

Go, who is the principal author and sponsor of the Act.
