Benildeans attend Model UN Olympics
WorldMUN engages participants in informed debates and committee sessions to discuss the most pressing problems of their generation.

Student achievers and future global leaders from the School of Diplomacy and Governance of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde will represent the Philippines at the prestigious 2023 Harvard World Model United Nations in Paris, France.
WorldMUN, the Olympics of Model UN, is considered as the most internationally diverse college-level Model UN conference.
The contingent: Maria Abanto, Nicole Angelie Alquiza, Felisha Babar, Liza Baloy, Yra Beltran, Nyana Calpito, Prince Dellosa, Nora Elagha, Timothy Enriquez, Phoemela Esluzar and Mikaela Fajardo.
WorldMUN engages participants in informed debates and committee sessions to discuss the most pressing problems of the generation.
It fosters authentic cross-cultural connections, encourages friendship, and establishes cooperation across borders, along with deeper understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures and perspectives.
The committees include The General Assembly, which tackles the issues affecting all developing and highly developed nations; The Economic and Social Council and Regional Bodies (development, human rights, culture, economics, and trade); and Specialized Agencies, which simulate scenarios on crisis elements.
The annual convention has gathered over 2,000 university students from over 110 countries like Singapore, Puebla in Mexico, Geneva in Switzerland, Beijing in China, Belo Horizonte in Brazil, Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt, Taipei in Taiwan, The Hague in Netherlands and Panama City in Panama.
