Kim Chiu is living the dream of every fangirl. Her hosting gig for the ABS-CBN survival show Dream Maker was recently featured in the Korean media outlet Dispatch Korea.

The Kapamilya actress expressed her joy over the article that described her as a “femme fatale with many charms” and “doll-like visuals.” These descriptions were made in relation to her appearances in several outfits during the show’s finale, which aired on 12 February.

Korean entertainment reporter Lee Ho-jun further praised the actress-host as a “smiling angel” with “overwhelming charisma” and the “class of a goddess.”

“Woke up to this!!!! Kinikilig ako!!!!! Hala @koreadispatch news realness!!! OMG!!!! I’m shaking!!!,” squealed Chiu on Instagram after reading the Dispatch report.

The It’s Showtime host said that while some people may see her reaction as “a little overacted,” it’s how she feels as a certified K-pop fan. The reason she hadn’t posted anything before this, she added, was because she was still high from experiencing Dream Maker The Dream Finale.

Chiu also expressed her appreciation to the Dream Maker team for allowing her to host the program. “My heart is bursting with gratitude and overflowing joy,” she said.

Actor Xian Lim, Chiu’s boyfriend, was quick to congratulate the actress.

In addition to being a TV host, Chiu is most recognized for her roles in teleseryes like My Binondo Girl, Love Thy Woman, and the movie Bride for Rent.

She is set to return to the small screen in 2023 in the lead role of ABS-CBN’s new teleserye Linlang, which will also star Paulo Avelino, JM De Guzman, Ruby Ruiz, and Maricel Soriano.
