The Philippine peso on Wednesday, 1 February, gained against the US dollar after it finished the day at P54.475 from Tuesday’s P54.64.
It opened the day at P54.655, slightly weaker than its P54.65 start in the previous session.
It traded between P54.67 and P54.475, resulting in an average of P54.591.
Volume declined to $958.9 million from yesterday’s $984.31 million.
