Filipino drag performer Precious Paula Nicole will be part of a huge lineup of drag queens to be featured at RuPaul’s DragCon in Los Angeles, California, United States.

World of Wonder, producer of drag competition RuPaul’s Drag Race, divulged some details about the international drag expo and fan convention in its website (worldofwonder.net).

“Hey squirrel friends, RuPaul’s DragCon is bringing the party to Los Angeles May 12-13! And this time, we’ve got a killer lineup of queens sashaying to the LA Convention Center to meet you!” an article in the site says.

On the site, Precious is included in a series of pictures of featured queens, the latest winners of RuPaul’s Drag Race and its international versions — Jaida Essence Hall (RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 12), and Kylie Sonique Love (RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 6), Danny Beard (Drag Race UK Season 4) and Spankie Jackzon (Drag Race Down Under Season 2).

Aside from them, the entire cast of the ongoing RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 will also make an appearance.

Precious is the first winner of Drag Race Philippines, whose debut season ran from 17 August to 14 October 2022. She participated at RuPaul’s DragCon UK from 6 to 8 January in London, together with fellow Drag Race Philippines contestants Prince Marell and Corazon Filipinas, marking the first time Filipino drag queens join the international event.

She will making history again by being the first Filipino drag queen to participate in the convention. RuPaul’s DragCon LA, started in 2015, is an outgrowth of the very popular RuPaul’s Drag Race.
RuPaul’s DragCon NYC followed in 2017.

The upcoming event is said to be the “biggest weekend in Drag Race herstory” and will include performances, parties, booths, meets-and-greets, talks and other activities.
