The Philippine Peso on Monday, 30 January, weakened against the US dollar and closed the first trading day of the week at P54.545 from the previous session’s P54.47.
Its weakness showed early on when it opened the day at P54.55 from last Friday’s P54.4 start.
It traded between P54.6 and P54.45, resulting in an average of P54.545.
Volume declined to $687.86 million from last Friday’s $946.65 million.
