Port of NAIA eyes streamlined enforcement

The Bureau of Customs Port of Ninoy Aquino International Airport recently conducted a coordination meeting with the Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group to ensure that there will be streamlined processes in enforcing laws and regulations related to the security of aviation travel in the Philippines.

PNP-AVSEGROUP NCR chief P/Col. Rhoderick Campo, P/Maj. Michael Angelo Campos, P/Maj. Jimmy Sion, P/Maj. Mark Victor Agdon, P/Maj. Gerphil Medina, P/Maj. Marvin Oloan, P/Cpt. Rolan Mondido and PEMS Joerina Mori attended the meeting.

The also tackled the process, concerns about operations and procedures and roles of both government agencies during the meeting.

“Coordination with the Port of NAIA created a strong bond of partnership and cooperation between PNP-AVSEGROUP NCR and BoC NAIA with a common goal of ensuring that NAIA is safe and secured against any acts of unlawful interference,” said the PNP-AVSEGROUP.

BoC-NAIA collector Carmelita Talusan, on the other hand, assured that the Port is committed to strengthening partnerships with the PNP-AVSEGROUP to ensure safety and security at the airport and in the country.
