Cainta procures mechanical ventilator

The local government of Cainta, Rizal announced that it has procured mechanical ventilator mindray SV-300 for the town’s pediatric and infant patients.

“Today, we already had a mechanical ventilator mindray SV-300 for the pediatric, infant and neonatal patients so that they will no longer rent when they need it,” Cainta municipal administrator Keith Nieto said.

According to Nieto, a mother came to him last week to ask for help because her baby uses a ventilator.

“They rent it for 7,500 per three days. They have no budget. I called Dr. Sierra because I know we bought two ventilators years ago,” Nieto said.
