Jetstar Asia CEO Bara Pasupathi yesterday expressed confidence and his support for Manila International Airport Authority General Manager, Cesar Chiong, as the airline continues to ramp up its operations in Manila.

Pasupathi said as Jetstar welcomes the Year of the Rabbit, airline management is “excited to grow our fleet, capacity, and network further” as consumer confidence in the airline grows.

“Direct services connecting Singapore and Manila have always been a critical link, and we are committed to seeing these grow to pre-Covid levels and beyond,” he said.

Jetstar Asia currently flies from Singapore to Manila and back twice daily and once daily from Manila to Tokyo-Narita.

Chiong said that the strong rebound in international travel that the airline has seen during the holiday season is very encouraging, and Jetstar Asia is readying new ways to provide air travelers with better travel experiences in 2023.
