Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go recently lauded the launching of the Super Health Center in Lavesares, Northern Samar even as his team mounted the relief activities at the newly constructed Barangay McArthur covered court in the town.

The senator’s team handed out grocery packs, vitamins, shirts, masks and snacks to 500 struggling residents. They also gave away shoes, cellular phones, and balls for basketball and volleyball to select individuals.

Go was scheduled to join his team in order to personally assist the residents in Northern Samar. He was set to provide aid to residents in Mapanas, conduct an inspection of the Lavezares Super Health Center, and attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony of a newly constructed covered court in the town which he supported in coordination with the local government. He was also set to turnover assistance from his office to calamity victims in Catarman.

However, the senator had to cancel his trip due to a mechanical issue in one of the aircraft’s engines.
