Miss Earth 2022 Mina Sue Choi (Korea) and her court, Miss Earth Air Sheridan Mortlock (Australia), Miss Earth Water Nadeen Ayoub (Palestine), and Miss Earth Fire Andrea Aguilera (Colombia), felt at home speaking to cohost Gilbert Kim Sancha on Daily Tribune's online show 'Gising Na!' — their first media appearance after the pageant finals at Okada Manila.

Choi, a Sydney-born communications major from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and model, is the first Korean to win Miss Earth. Her personal advocacy is to promote the reduction of carbon footprint and emissions in cities via sustainable mobility and earth-friendly lifestyles.

Mortlock, an international relations and political science student, and also a model, wants to take an ACE (Action, Care, Education) approach in dealing with climate change. She realized the connection of Miss Earth to her childhood experience of the outdoors with her family, when they traveled around Australia for 14 months, living in a camper.

Ayoub, a nutrition consultant, fitness instructor, model, and entrepreneur, said she wants to make skin and hair products from natural Palestinian oils.

Aguilera, a model and television and events presenter, said she will focus on the protection of the environment through Colombia's "bottles of love" project.

"I'm hungry," Choi quipped as the 'Gising Na!' cast and crew invited the Earth queens to partake of arroz caldo. She loved it.
