Dashing through the Ortigas East is the Stevie Award-winning Ortigas East Christmas Street Light Musical Tunnel, which is designed by renowned lighting designer Voltaire de Jesus in collaboration with Ortigas Land.

The attractive yearly holiday spectacle has been bringing cheer among motorists and commuters alike since its launch in 2018. This year, however, may be the light-and-sound show's last year as its creators will be revamping it next year.

According to De Jesus, "What makes the tunnel of lights here different is that the lights we used have infinite colors and can be programmed to whatever movement and color desired, it also changes with the music. Another difference is that the music we play is specifically made for the tunnel of lights and these are arranged by Filipino arrangers."

Catch the Christmas Street Light Musical Tunnel until 8 January 2023, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. And while one's at it, Ortigas Land has also launched more lighting attractions around the district to add to the holiday cheer.

At Capitol Commons, Illuminated Path is the newer addition to the Ortigas Christmas installations. Modest yet equally enchanting in its lighting display, Estancia gets that bit of magical charm that's perfect for eliciting joyful moods among strollers in the area.

De Jesus pointed out the versatility of the Illuminated Path: "The beauty of it is, say it's Christmas. So, the images that we project are related to the holidays. Then in February, if it's Valentine's day, we project images related to the occasion, too."

The Illuminated Path runs till 8 January 2023,6 p.m. to 10 p.m. A fireworks display will also greet visitors every 7 p.m. on the following dates: 3, 10, 17, 25 December and 1 January.

Besides lighting installations, the property developer has also lined up a food bazaar called All I want for Christmas is food: Christmas Food Bazaars at Ortigas East and Capitol Commons. On
Both food bazaars are available Friday to Sunday, 4 to 10 p.m.
