The Department of Agrarian Reform has distributed electronic land titles and certificates of land ownership award to at least 99 members of the Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries from Batangas.
Atty. Kazel Celeste, DAR Undersecretary for Field Operations Office together with Calabarzon regional director Cupido Gerry Asuncion and Lipa City Mayor Eric Africa, led the distribution of land titles comprising a total of 98.7453 hectares.
Meantime, 22 of the ARBs received CLoAs distributed under the newly acquired lands comprising a total of 17.909 hectares of lands located in the municipalities of Lobo, Balete, Rosario, San Juan, Lipa City and Tanauan City.
The DAR also distributed e-titles to 77 ARBs under the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling project with a total of 80.8358 hectares located in the municipalities of Calatagan, Lian, Tuy, Balayan, Lobo, Ibaan, Padre Garcia, Rosario and San Juan.
Aside from e-titles and CLoA distribution, the DAR also turned over various projects which include a coco-by products processing facility to the SAPAGLAYA Multi-Purpose Cooperative under the Village Level Farm Focused Enterprise Development Project, and a multi-cab was provided to the Dayapan MPC under the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty.
