Natori at 45: Enduring lifestyle brand

Renowned luxury lingerie and apparel brand Natori turned 45 in a specially organized affair at The Conservatory of Peninsula Manila.

It's not every day that a collection is presented via a magnificent performance by Ballet Philippines — whose dancers sported some of Natori's Fall-Winter 2022 collection.

The collection paid homage to the brand's first pieces, updated with modern silhouettes, embellishments, and embroidery, all outstanding in the season's holiday colors of greens, purples, reds, and cognac.

Spotted at the event were US Ambassador to the Philippines MaryKay Carlson, as well as business and fashion luminaries.

The brand's founder and CEO, Filipino-American fashion designer Josie Natori, recalled the roots of her creation that was born in 1977.

Today, still at the helm of her baby, Natori continues to breathe life into everyday essentials that reflect the classic East-meets-West aesthetic.

Good to know that Natori's lifestyle items now include menswear and footwear.

The event celebrated the enduring genius of Josie Natori and her eponymous brand that champions female ingenuity and Filipino craftsmanship. As Josie said, "I'm proud to have grown a brand which translates 'made in the Philippines' into 'excellence in quality.'"
