Bong Go extends support to indigents in Josefina, Zamboanga del Sur

Sen. Bong Go together with Sen. Robinhood Padilla, personally visited Josefina, Zamboanga del Sur on Friday, 18 November, to assist thousands of struggling residents.

Held at the municipal gymnasium, Go and his team handed out grocery packs, vitamins, masks, meals, umbrellas, caps and shirts to 1,697 residents. They also provided cellular phones, shoes, watches, bicycles, and balls for basketball and volleyball to select beneficiaries.

Get into sports, stay away from drugs,” Go encouraged in his speech.

In line with the government’s efforts to help the most needy sector, personnel from the Department of Social Welfare and Development likewise provided financial assistance to the residents.
