Two drug suspects were arrested while P136 million worth of shabu and drug-making chemicals were seized by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in a raid of an alleged shabu laboratory inside Ayala Alabang Village in Muntinlupa City Friday morning.

PDEA spokesperson Derrick Carreon said they raided the medium-scale suspected shabu laboratory at Mabolo Street, AAV, resulting in the arrest of Aurelien Cythere, 41; and Mark Anthony Sarayot, 42.

Armed with a search warrant, the agents confiscated 20 kilos of shabu with an estimated value of P136 million, various controlled precursors and essential chemicals, laboratory equipment, several IDs, three cellphones and financial documents

The two arrested suspects will be charged with violation of Section 8 (Manufacture of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

They were detained at the PDEA National Capital Region custodial facility while the pieces of evidence seized in the operation were brought to the PDEA main office for documentation.
