The Philippine peso on 18 November closed sideways against the US dollar at P57.26 from P57.36 a day ago.
It opened at P57.45 and traded between P57.45 and P57.23. The local currency also stood at an average of P57.347.
Volume declined to $650.18 million from $661.88 million on 17 November.
