Nueva Ecija inaugurates two new multi-purpose buildings

CUYAPO, Nueva Ecija — Two new multi-purpose buildings were constructed by the Department of Public Works and Highways in this province to provide residents an assembly hall to hold community activities.

In Barangay Maycaban here, the DPWH Nueva Ecija 1st District Engineering Office has constructed a P4.9-million multi-purpose building/ gymnasium which is expected to serve as a center for gatherings such as the delivery of social services to the community or other recreational activities.

According to Barangay Secretary Jose Darang Manican III, the construction of the gymnasium has significantly improved the implementation of their programs and the services they provide to local residents.

He also said that they are excited and ready to hold meetings for they can now conveniently disseminate information to a larger group of people at the same time.

In Gabaldon, the DPWH has completed the construction of a multipurpose building in Barangay Bantug that will benefit the members of TABASACA Irrigators Farmers Association Incorporated.

According to Nueva Ecija District Engineer Elpidio Trinidad, the 2-storey facility will serve as a venue for holding meetings and other official activities of the association.
