Talk N' Text went on a shooting spree on 8 October, blasting NorthPort, 117-93, in the PBA Commissioner's Cup at the Philsports Arena.

RR Pogoy pumped in six consecutive three-point shots that set the momentum for Tropang Giga's victory.

It was the most number of consecutive three-point shots made in a half by any player, according to PBA head of stats Fidel Mangonon III.

It was also a fitting payback for TNT, which suffered a heartbreaking 94-92 loss to Magnolia.

Pogoy's hot shooting in the first half were 11-of-11 from the field. He ended the game with 32 points on a prolific 12-of-14 shooting from the field and a sensational 8-of-9 clip from beyond the arc.

TNT coach Chot Reyes told the media that the Tropang Giga are now playing on the fly since they didn't have tune-up games and couldn't complete their squad for scrimmages.

But after two games, the Tropang Giga looked every bit a contender despite the absence of key players like Jayson Castro, Glenn Khobuntin, and Ryan Reyes.

Mikey Williams, who has recovered from an ankle injury, and Poy Erram, who served a one-game suspension in a previous game against Magnolia, were back in action on 8 October.

"I'm pretty pleased, obviously because we got the win today, but I'm really pleased with the effort in our last game, although we lost," said Reyes.

"We're making do with what we have. Whoever is here, then we'll find ways to continuously remind the players to value every possession."

Cameron Oliver finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block.

Williams contributed 19 markers on top of seven rebounds and six assists.

TNT's defense also worked double time, limiting the explosive Robert Bolick to only 14 points and just one point between the second and third periods.
