Starting one’s skincare journey

It's safe to say that almost everyone has developed their own skincare regimen — and not just for aesthetics.

The importance of having healthy skin followed soon after everyone realized what they were doing to stay healthy prior to Covid-19 wasn't enough.

Now that everyone is at a point in their skincare journey where they're looking for products that suit their skin, Cetaphil continues to grow its extensive,
75-year-old portfolio, starting off with its ode to healthy skin through the National Healthy Skin Mission that the brand spearheaded alongside Watsons.

With its vision of sharing insights to people who wish to be guided towards having healthy skin, the campaign put up an experimental booth at SM Makati, serving as a one-stop-shop for all things skincare.

The stylish setup became the site for talks on skincare with dermatologists alongside personalities. Mariel Padilla shared tips and tricks for moms while Michelle Dy held a masterclass on how to achieve healthy skin. For those who couldn't make it to the physical event, the talks were also held on Facebook Live.

Of course, at the booth were all the products Cetaphil carries like the Gentle Skin Cleanser, Gentle Moisturising Lotion, Gentle Moisturising Cream, Bright Healthy Radiance line, and Cetaphil Baby range.
Cetaphil also launched the Sensitive Skin Lab spotlighting the expanded line of the OGs: Cetaphil Cleansing Lotion and Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. Now, it comes in the form of moisturizers, cleansers, skin brightening, sun care, and baby care.

At the event held at Maybank Theater were various booths where people checked on our skin health.

It was also where I found out I have dry skin when all this time I thought I had oily skin. They recommended the Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion for me, which was also the star of the show.

Undergoing tedious steps like being studied in-vitro, evaluated across 23 clinical subjects, and tested on nearly 1,000 subjects, the Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion is a must-have for dry girlies like me because it is clinically proven to fight the Five Signs of Skin Sensitivity: weakened skin barrier, dryness, irritation, roughness, and tightness.

Brands such as Cetaphil pave the way for beginners who wish to start their skincare journey, as well as the veterans who are looking for no nonsense products.
