Adam Levine has cleared the air over the viral cheating allegations against him.

"I used poor judgement in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner," Levine wrote on Instagram.

He claims he did not have an affair, yet admitting that he had "crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life."

"In certain instances, it became inappropriate," Levine added. He has taken "proactive steps" to remedy this with his family.

"My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together," he said.

Levine's statement comes after social media model Sumner Stroh claimed that she and the Maroon 5 frontman had a year-long affair.

In a statement to Page Six, Stroh said that the affair took place last year, "when she graduated college in 2021."

"I wasn't in 'the scene' like I am now, so I was definitely very easily manipulated," Stroh said.

According to Stroh, they haven't spoken in months so she was surprised that Levine messaged her to ask if he could name his next child after her.

In a new TikTok video, Stroh apologized to Levine's wife, former Victoria's Secret angel Behati Prinsloo.

"I'm not the one getting hurt in this. It's Behati and her children. And for that, I'm so, so sorry," she said.

Levine and Prinsloo have two daughters, Dusty, 5, and Gio, 4. They are currently expecting their third child.
