BSP, NBKR sign bilateral cooperation

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas has signed bilateral Cooperation with the National Bank of Kyrgyz Republic to establish an arrangement for the exchange of information, capacity building, and research in critical areas of central banking.

The BSP and the NBKR have entered into a memorandum of understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Central Banking Activities which took effect on 16 August.

The Mo U allows the BSP to expand and strengthen bilateral relations with central bank partners in the Central Asia region.

Through bilateral Cooperation, the BSP and NBKR can leverage each other's approaches and methodologies in internal audit, corporate governance and risk management, among others.
