San Miguel Beer guard Chris Ross came into defense of TNT Tropang Giga guard Mikey Williams after being spotted in the Beermen's post-championship celebration.
In a social media post late Wednesday, the 6-foot-1 SMB guard said that the TNT guard was at the restaurant before he and Robbie Herndon arrived.
A video circulated online seeing Williams joining in on the Beermen's celebration days after TNT lost in Game 7 in the Philippine Basketball Association Philippine Cup finals.
Reports suggest that the people inside the TNT management isn't taking the fact that Williams could be celebrating his own team's defeat.
"Man you guys will find anything to complain about. This man gave his everything to try to help win, playing hurt and even won their first chip last season in more than five years," Ross said.
"He was at the restaurant long before we got there and when we showed up he tried to leave but me and Robbie forced him to stay. Y'all are definitely reaching on this."
