A couple was arrested in Malabon City after allegedly selling P2,500 worth of suspected shabu to policemen, P/Lt. Col. Renato Castillo, chief of the district drug enforcement unit of the Northern Police District.
Seized from the partners were about 43 grams of crystal meth which, if validated at the laboratory, would fetch at least P292,400 at the street-level drug market.
The police withheld the name of those arrested pending the filing of charges against them pertaining to Sections 5 and 11 of the Comprehensive Anti-Drugs Act.
