KyleTzy carries Bren past Omega, TNC upsets ONIC

MPL Season 6 champion and M2 Mobile Legends world champion Bren Esports scored its biggest win of the tournament following a three-game thriller with Omega Esports on Week 4 Day 1 of MPL Season 10 earlier today.

After scoring one game apiece, Bren Esports leaned on fast-rising jungler KyleTzy’s Lancelot backed by Masha, Kadita, Beatrix, and Dyrroth while Omega drafted Esmeralda, Yve, Claude, Chou, and Fanny.

After scoring first blood at the expense of Fanny in the opening minute of the stanza, KyleTzy went to snowball and score 7 more kills to register a Legendary, ending the series with an 8/0/3 KDA.

“I did not like my performance with Fanny so I told myself that I would redeem myself in the third game with Lancelot,” KyleTzy said after the match.

“I told our coach to let me play Lancelot because I am very confident. I used him in our scrimm yesterday and I performed very well so I brought it out here in MPL.”

Match 2 of the day saw action between a struggling TNC and ONIC PH. Just when everybody had overlooked TNC after dropping five matches in a row, they turned around and swept the top seed ONIC to cop their first win and improve their standing to 1-5.

“I am so happy because we really needed a win to boost our confidence and brighten our hope. We built ourselves in meetings talking about what we lacked and needed,” TNC team captain Benthings stated in the post-match interview.
