GIP orients 33 interns

The 33 beneficiaries of the Government Internship Program (GIP) of the Navotas City government underwent orientation last Thursday.

“They will be given the opportunity to work in the city government from 1 September to 20 December this year and will receive P570 per day,” according to Mayor John Rey Tiangco.

Tiangco also encouraged them to strive to provide sincere service to others and use what they will learn to be prepared for working in the future.

The GIP is a program brought by the Department of Labor and Employment in collaboration with the NavotaAs Hanapbuhay Center.
