BAGUIO CITY — Newly-minted Police Regional Office-Cordillera (PROCor) regional director Police Brigadier General Mafelino Bazar on Sunday assured that he will implement faster crime response in the region.

Bazar succeeded the directorship from P/Brig. Gen. Ronald Lee, who will be joining the forces of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).

The new PROCor chief stressed that faster police response is the key in the immediate solutions and resolves of crimes against the people and properties as it will also serve as deterrent to crimes that will about to be done by unscrupulous individuals.

To be able to achieve this, he added that different units of PROCor should always be alert and ready.

Bazar also appealed to the public that their cooperation and trust to the police is always needed. This he said will ensure the realization of peace and order in their respective areas.
