Monalisa Dimalanta is new ERC chair

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has designated lawyer Monalisa Dimalanta as chairperson of the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), Malacañang announced on Friday.
Dimalanta, who replaces Agnes Devanadera, previously served as chairperson of the National Renewable Energy Board (NREB).
Press Secretary Trixie Cruz Angeles said Dimalanta was the former chief legal counsel and compliance officer of Aboitiz Power Corporation, and an alumna of the University of the Philippines.
Dimalanta’s term will expire on 10 July 2029.
