Known economist and the country’s erstwhile chief executive, also former House Speaker and Pampanga representative Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, will be the keynote speaker of the upcoming 26th National Convention of the National Real Estate Association (NREA) on 16-17 June 2022, relaying her expertise on how the real estate segment bounce back after enduring the adverse effects of the persisting Covid-19 pandemic.

Badly impacted by the contagion, the real estate industry will try to find solutions on how they will recoup, as the convention puts together formidable minds and proposals on how to bring back the glory they enjoyed in the previous years.

Besides Arroyo, Secretary Eduardo del Rosario of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) will also share his insights regarding this year’s conference theme “Real Estate: Roaring Into 2022 and Beyond.” Arroyo and Del Rosario are both honorary members of NREA.

The convention is an annual industry consultation on housing issues, as well as search for housing solutions, according to Architect Ma. Ysolde Flores Prado, NREA secretary general and overall convention chairperson.
