A magnitude 5.5 earthquake rocked the province of Pangasinan Wednesday night, the Philippine Volcanology said yesterday. According to data from Phivolcs, the tectonic quake, which was earlier reported to be a magnitude 5.6 tremor, struck at 6:25 p.m. with a depth of 137 kilometers. Its epicenter was said to be located six kilometers southeast of Aguilar town.
Meanwhile, an intensity 5 quake was felt in the town of Villasis; intensity 4 in Baguio City and intensity 2 in Subic, Zambales, Pasay City, Manila, Mandaluyong City and Quezon City.
