2018 Bar Exams ending in hours

The Manila Police District (MPD) said today it expects the last Sunday for the 2018 Bar Examinations to remain peaceful. The first three Sundays were reported hassle-free.

However, due to the expected huge volume of supporters trooping to University of Sto. Tomas, heightened security remains in the area. MPD added that a portion of España Boulevard from Lacson Avenue to P. Noval Street would be closed to traffic by 3 p.m. to accommodate the supporters and the exam-takers expecting to mill around and talk about the gruelling exams they’ve been through.

A total of 8,701 aspiring lawyers took the exam this year, a record highest in recent years according to Supreme Court.
