The Sandiganbayan First Division Court has set for 7 December the promulgation of its decision on the plunder charges slapped against former Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. for his alleged involvement in the P224.5-million Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) scam.
In a supplemental order released last 5 November, the anti-graft court ordered the finality of Revilla’s case, bringing the trial to a close almost four years after the charges were filed.
“The court hereby sets the promulgation of the decision of this case on 7 December 2018, at 8:30 in the morning,” the Sandiganbayan said.
Also included in the promulgation were the senator’s co-accused and former aide, Atty. Richard Cambe, as well as alleged pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim Napoles.
Revilla’s fate lies in the hands of First Division Chairperson Associate Justice Efren De La Cruz along with Associate Justices Geraldine Faith Econg and Edgardo Caldona.
