Bong Go launches Malasakit Center at S. Leyte hospital

Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go launched the Malasakit Center in Salvacion Oppus-Yñiguez Memorial Provincial Hospital in Maasin, Southern Leyte on Saturday, 22 September 218. Go thanked local officials who helped in establishing and opening the Malasakit Center in the said hospital and asked for their cooperation in promoting accessible healthcare for all Filipinos, particularly the senior citizens and persons with disabilities. "Mga kababayan, asahan po ninyo na buo lagi ang suporta ni Kuya Bong sa pagtataguyod ng accessible quality education at healthcare para sa mga Pilipino. Huwag din po sana tayong magsawa sa pagsuporta kay Tatay Digong at Kuya Bong!" said Go in his speech. Go also expressed support for Duterte's signing of House Bill No. 6031 that aims to integrate the Maasin City College to the Southern Leyte State University (SLSU). He said the integration plan is good because it will give opportunity to students in Maasin and the province to study for free.
