Forty Miss World Philippines candidates stormed the runway in their swimwear Tuesday afternoon during their first official appearance before the media at Resorts World Manila. The pageant’s coronation night will be held on 7 October at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
This year’s batch will have to surpass expectations generated by last year’s candidates winning three out of four international titles, namely the Reina Hispanoamericana, Miss Eco Tourism and Miss Multinational.
The winners last year were Miss Eco International 2017 Cynthia Thomalla, Miss World Philippines 1st princess Glyssa Perez and Miss Multinational 2017 Sophia Senoron.
