Two holdup men aboard a motorcycle were killed when they traded shots with patrolling cops early dawn yesterday on Pureza Street, Sampaloc, Manila.
The slain suspects had just held up Teresa Aguilar, 23, a cashier of Master Siomai, while walking along D. Santiago corner Mindanao streets at 1:50 a.m. yesterday. The duo forcibly took her sling bag containing P500 and important belongings.

The lawmen retaliated, resulting in the instant death of one of the suspects.
The other suspect was wounded critically and taken to the Ospital ng Sampaloc where he was declared dead on arrival by attending doctors.
Recovered from the scene were two .38 caliber revolvers and a motocycle Kawasaki Fury (colored maroon) with no registration plate.
