VinFast makes electric riding accessible

VinFast is banking on a lower entry cost and quick battery exchanges to win over Filipino riders as it continues to disrupt the local two-wheeler segment two months following its official launch in the market in July.

High upfront costs continue to be one of the most consistent barriers to e-motorcycle adoption in the Philippines, one that has kept many models out of reach for the everyday rider.

VinFast E-Motorcycle addresses this with a battery subscription option, which allows riders to pay for battery use on a subscription basis, allowing them to purchase the motorcycle body at a lower price point.

The subscription model, which starts at P439 per month, results in a more manageable entry cost, without compromising on the performance or features of the unit itself. This battery subscription model also comes with battery warranty coverage throughout the subscription period.

For Filipinos who treat motorcycles as a necessity rather than a luxury, lowering the entry point is not a minor adjustment, but a major stepping stone that lets them realize their e-motorcycle ownership dreams.

Battery swapping stations that make range anxiety a non-issue

Range anxiety is the second most cited reason Filipino riders hesitate to go electric. The concern is practical: in a country where the riding culture is built around long, flexible daily use, depending on a single charge feels like a trade-off most riders are not ready to make.

VinFast E-Motorcycle allows riders to exchange a depleted battery for a fully charged one at designated swap stations. Rather than waiting for a charge, riders swap and go, keeping the experience closer to a quick swap stop than a charging session.

The battery swapping system also addresses another major concern: battery upkeep. With the swapping system, VinFast takes care of the batteries’ maintenance.

Three E-Motorcycles built to withstand flood-prone road conditions

Weather is one of the more practical concerns Filipino riders carry when considering a switch to electric.

The Evo, Feliz II and Viper are each equipped with an IP67-rated powertrain, meaning core electrical components are fully protected against dust and capable of withstanding water submersion.

For riders who find themselves caught in the rain or navigating waterlogged roads, the rating offers a concrete assurance that the bike can handle what Philippine weather brings.

For a market where weather reliability is not a bonus but an expectation, the IP67 standard positions VinFast's lineup as one built with Philippine conditions in mind, not adapted to them after the fact.

Two months in, three answers that matter

Two months in, VinFast E-Motorcycle Philippines is pointing to the same three answers: a subscription model that makes the switch financially accessible, a swap network that makes it practically viable, and a lineup of vehicles built for Philippine roads.

The VinFast Evo, Feliz II and Viper are available through VinFast E-Motorcycle Philippines' growing network of showrooms and authorized dealers nationwide.
